Modified Jawa 42 by Autologue Design is an absolute visual treat!

Autologue Design is one of the very few custom bike builders in India that need no introduction for they've been doing some really good work. And now, the custom house has gotten their hands on a Jawa Forty Two which was commissioned to them by Classic Legends. The end result is a sheer fantastic looking scrambler that draws inspiration from ISDT Jawas used for trials racing.

A Scrambler-style build means it should be able to tackle off-road with ease for which Autologue have given the Jawa Forty Two all the modifications it needed. It gets a raised exhaust, fenders and handlebar as well, along with a knobby set of tyres.

The headlamp and tail lamp have both been replaced with new custom units. There's brilliant detailing on the engine and the paint job rather goes really well with the personality giving the classic-looking Scrambler42 a hint of the modern.

If you have a Jawa Forty Two and would like it custom built, folks at Autologue Design are just the people to go to. The Forty Two is one of the three new motorcycles that marked Jawa's re-entry in the Indian two-wheeler market, with the other two being Jawa and Perak.

Jawa Forty Two is powered by a 293cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that makes 27 bhp and 28 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. It gets a 280mm disc with a floating calliper and a 153mm drum at the rear, along with a single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

Jawa and Jawa Forty-Two are currently on sale in India at respective prices of Rs 1.64 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The bookings for the two were closed on 25 December and are expected to resume sometime in September this year.
